For impact agents

Progress on societal and environmental goals

Wicked societal problems demand multi-level, multi-sectoral approaches. AxHA works alongside agents of change in the private and public sectors to build institutional, economic, and technological pathways towards a more resilient and sustainable future.

AxHA's three levels of action: EU policy at the macro level, partnerships at the meso level, and projects & research at the micro level, on the ground. This integrated approach helps generate measurable impact and progress for our clients and society.

Our consultants bring expertise in public affairs, project management, research, finance, IT and impact reporting.

We work on societal issues such as environmental and climate policies, renewable energy investment projects, sustainable trade and supply chains, social housing, and human rights and environmental due diligence.

Public affairs in Europe

We monitor and shape EU policies so that they create lasting societal value.

Our team helps organisations set out their EU strategy and builds bridges with EU institutions.

Impactful partnerships

We bring together private (companies, cooperatives, NGOs) and public actors to turn ambition into measurable outcomes.

We design strategic collaborations towards shared goals.

European projects & research

Generate impact through EU grant projects or private funding.

We help turn local insights into operational know-how and policy recommendations.

Our recent work

Recent assignments show how AxHA combines policy strategy, research, and project development to help organisations turn complex societal challenges into concrete progress.

  • Living income and EU due diligence: AxHA supported the Fair Trade Advocacy Office in developing Shadow Guidance on Living Income under the CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive), contributing to EU policy strategy on sustainable trade, corporate responsibility, and human rights due diligence.
  • Methane emissions research: AxHA contributed to research for Changing Markets on methane emissions in key sectors linked to cattle, helping strengthen evidence-based advocacy on a critical near-term climate issue.
  • Renewable energy investment in social housing: Through the KliWo project in Germany, AxHA helped convene more than 20 housing companies and supported a successful EIB ELENA proposal to accelerate renewable energy investments over the next three years.
